Michelle is an Australian Teddy Bear Artist, now living in Cork, Ireland.

Michelle specialises in old fashioned, jointed Teddy bears and other childrens classic characters such as Beatrix Potter, Alice in Wonderland and Puss in boots – to name a few.

All TeddyGruBears and Friends are personally designed by Michelle, and they are 100% HANDMADE (including hand sewn – not a sewing machine in sight!) unique, designer pieces.

She uses only the very best of materials for all of her makes, including Mohair, Alpaca and pure Silk fur from the world renown Steiff-Schulte (German manufacturers of distinction).

All are filled by hand with Excelsior (wood wool), pure sheep or alpaca wool.

She gathers antique materials such as lace and jewelry to add to her characters to add those special touches to make each character unique and timeless.
