Lapis Jewellers was established by John Darcy in Dublin in 1980 – John is a Fellow of the Gemological Association of Great Britain (FGA). This family-run business operates from a shop in the heart of downtown Dublin at 17 Nassau Street. We stock a range of unique custom made jewellery including a wide variety of pearl and bead necklaces. We carry a wide range of gems and stones to suit every occasion from formal eveningwear to casual, everyday use. We have a reputation for picking only the best quality stones across each price range. We source these on regular buying trips abroad. We specialise in setting cloloured gemstones from the unusual colours of sapphire, tourmaline, opal, and garnet to the more standard colours of aquamarine, emerald, ruby, peridot, and amethyst with or without diamonds in 14kt/18kt yellow and white gold. We string our own Tahitian, South Sea, Cultured Sea, and Fresh Water pearl necklaces and are able to make them to your own specification. Connemara Marble Jewellery is another Lapis specialty – and unique to us – is our range of Connemara marble jewellery. This features the distinctive green marble, the natural gemstone of Ireland, that is still quarried in Connemara in the west of the country. Our range includes Claddagh rings, earrings, brooches, rings, necklaces, cuff links, pendants and bracelets.
