Hello I’m Mary owner at Gléasta. Thank you for visiting my shop.

I discovered my love of sewing at a very young age from watching my grandmother and mother making their own clothes.

I started with dolls clothes and then progressed to making my own. When I finished school I attended The Grafton Academy of Dress Design in Dublin.  I completed my diploma I worked for many years as a childrens wear designer.

Sewing has brought so much joy to my life. I wanted to share my passion and joy for this fabulous hobby. I have been teaching night classes now for many years
