Each year, I produce a one off Christmas TeddyGruBear for the discerning Collector.

Each year, they are different - I use different materials and antique pieces to make each and every one, and they are never repeated.

This years Christmas TeddyGruBear is a little different from my usual Santa TeddyGruBear design.

2021 Christmas TeddyGruBear is a gorgeous old fashioned bear, with a slight hump at the top of his back.

He is made using a lush, thick Alpaca from Steiff - Schulte (German manufacturer) in a deep, true chocolate brown.

He has a hand sculpted face, with black glass eyes and is absolutely dreamy to look at.

Christmas Teddy has been traditionally hand filled with a combination of wood wool, pure sheep wool and a little granulate in his tummy, so he sits beautifully.

His paws have been handmade with (real) leather and alpaca fur, along with black embroidered claws.

He weighs 516 grams, and is 29cm tall - he sits at 19cm tall.

Christmas TeddyGruBear comes to you wearing his handmade Santa hat - of which is made using a gorgeous deep burgandy antique mohair fur, trimmed in pure white alpaca fur.

At the end of his Santa hat is an exquisite real rabbit fur bommel (upcycled - no rabbits were harmed in the making of any TeddyGruBear) - It is soft and lush, and looks absolutely perfect.

Around his neck he has a burgundy, wide satin ribbon, of which 5 real brass bells have been attached (3 large and 2 small). He makes the most beautiful Christmassy sound when you pick him up!

Both his hat and his bells can be removed leaving you with a traditional Brown Bear TeddyGruBear.
